Salespersons

  • Be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Be a citizen of the United States or a lawfully admitted alien.
  • 180-hour Pre-License Education completed
  • Applicants must be either a Texas resident or a lawful permanent resident alien.

  • Have at least four years of active experience in Texas as a licensed real estate sales agent or broker during the 60-month period immediately preceding the filing of the application.
  • Pass the state real estate broker licensing exam.
  • Submit fingerprints for a background check.
