Define Buyer Representation Agreement in Real Estate
Buyer Representation Agreement:
A "Buyer Representation Agreement" is a contract between a home buyer and a real estate agent. It says the agent will help the buyer find a house, and the buyer promises to work only with that agent during the process.
Example:
For example, imagine you want to buy a house, so you sign a Buyer Representation Agreement with a real estate agent named Jane. This means Jane will help you find a house, and you agree not to work with any other agents while she's helping you.

When you're searching for a home, a place just for you,
A real estate agent can help, it's true.
But to make it all official, a contract you'll need,
A Buyer Representation Agreement, indeed!
You'll sign on the line, and the agent will, too,
And together you'll find a home, shiny and new.
You promise to work with them, and only them alone,
As you search high and low for a house to call your own.
