Define Conformity in Real Estate

Conformity: 

"Conformity" means that things in a neighborhood or community look similar and fit well together. For example, if all the houses on a street have similar styles and colors, that's conformity.

Example: 

A working example is if someone wants to build a new house in a neighborhood where all the houses are one story and made of brick, it's important to make sure the new house looks similar so it fits in with the rest of the neighborhood.
